Chthonic | Vetiver and Cedarwood Grounding Mist | For Anxiety & Root Work
I call this my 'anchor in a bottle.'
In my practice, grounding isn't just a buzzword—it's survival. I formulated Chthonic (named after the Greek word for 'of the earth/underworld') specifically for those days when you feel floaty, anxious, or just disconnected from your body.
The Scent: This is not a light, airy perfume. It is deep, heavy, and smells like a forest floor after the rain.
Vetiver: The star of the show. It smells like damp soil and roots.
Cedarwood: Adds a dry, woody backbone.
Benzoin: A touch of resin to sweeten the 'dirt' smell just slightly.
How I Use It: I spray this heavily around my ankles and feet before doing any shadow work, or just when I’ve been staring at a screen for too long and need to remember I have a physical body. It’s also my go-to for ancestor work, as the scent feels very 'old' and established.
